How Often Do You Meet?

The club usually meets weekly at Shadowridge Golf Course. Meetings begin at 7:00 a.m. and conclude at 8:30 a.m. Members are asked not to exceed 3 absences per quarter.

Do You Meet Any Other Times or Days?

Yes. Every other month we have a Business Mixer. At that time we skip the morning meeting and convene at a member’s place of business. This gives members the opportunity to bring staff or family to meet other club members. Potential members are welcome at these meetings too.

How Many Times May I Attend Before Joining?

Potential members attend two regular (breakfast) meetings before applying for membership. Mixers do not count as a regular meeting.

Do I Have To Pay For Breakfast?

Yes and No. As a guest, Business Leaders, pays for your breakfast for 2 meetings while you get to know us and we get to know you. Once you are voted in as a member, you will owe quarterly dues currently in the amount of $175.00, which pays for breakfast and other club expenses, There is also a one time fee.

Your breakfast includes coffee, orange juice, scrambled eggs, bacon, bagels, English Muffins, bread, fruit and oatmeal.

How much does it cost to join?

There is an initial, one-time initiation fee of $225.00. Currently that initiation fee has been reduced to $50. Members are also responsible for quarterly dues of $175. This covers the cost of the buffet breakfast plus club expenses. If you join in the middle of the quarter, dues will be pro-rated. Thus your current maximum total fees for joining our organization would be $225.00 (or it could be prorated lower depending on when you join).

How Do I Join?

Fill out an application. Ask your sponsor or an officer for one. Once you complete the application and submit it along with the initiation fee and pro-rated quarterly dues, the club’s inspector will contact you. They will arrange to come to you place of business and meet with you. Once the inspection takes place, the membership will vote on your application at the next scheduled Thursday morning meeting. You are asked to not attend this meeting. You will be notified about the result of the vote.

Do I Have To Attend Every Week?

Members are asked not to exceed three absences per quarter. Members may send a staff member or co-worker as their representative. Contact the Vice President (who takes attendance) if you need to exceed the three meeting limit.
